Russell Refuge, Inc. provides temporary shelter to Jack Russell Terriers in the northeastern United States that are no longer wanted or have been placed in public shelters.  Our organization is staffed by volunteers that help with dog care, transportation and the web site.

Russell Refuge receives daily requests from all over the country for assistance with terriers in need.  In order to effectively help, we are compiling a database of individuals for each state, as well as professional animal services and rescue groups that can be called upon if needed.  Acquiring foster homes is a priority but there are many ways that you can help.
