Russell Refuge Needs Your Help

Russell Refuge, Inc. provides temporary shelter to Jack Russell Terriers in the northeastern United States that are no longer wanted or have been placed in public shelters. We provide medical care before adoption and find suitable homes for terriers in our care. Our organization is funded entirely by donations. These donations are used for temporary housing, spaying/neutering, transportation from shelters, veterinarian treatments, food, etc.

If you are a donor, you may be able to increase your donation with a matching gift made by your employer. Employees wishing to secure a matching gift from their company must initiate the process directly with their employer on our behalf (inquire with your human resources, charitable contributions, or payroll department).

Refuge Fundraising Programs

There are several special programs that you can chose to direct your donation to. We have a special needs terrier: Milo. We are also raising money to purchase several heated dog houses to protect the terriers. You can also donate to one of our Starlight terriers (permanent residents of the Refuge). If you are looking for something for yourself, try one of our charms in the Gift Store.
